Biography

2023
• Appeared in all 13 games for NIU and started the last four games of the season after coming in as a grad transfer from Lamar. 
• Finished third on the team in tackles with 56, 28 solo, with two tackles for loss with at least one tackle in every game.
• Made seven tackles in win over Kent State (11-25) and was in on a tackle for loss. 
• Named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week (11-10) after recording a season best 10 stops, including 1.5 tackles for loss, vs. Ball State (11-7).
• Totaled seven tackles at Central Michigan (10-31).
• Had four tackles in NIU’s win over Ohio (10-14). 
• Made five tackles - all solo - at Toledo (9-30).
• Recorded six tackles at Nebraska (9-16).
• Contributed four stops in NIU’s upset win over Boston College (9-2).

PRIOR TO NIU 
2022 AT LAMAR: Played in and started all 11 games. Garnered second-team All-Southland Conference honors. Third on the team with 98 total tackles.  Also led the Cards, and finished sixth in the league with 9.5 tackles for loss. Credited with a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry. Recorded four double-figure tackle games. Led the season off with 10 stops, including five solo, and 1.5 for loss at Abilene Christian. Also broke up a pass. Had 15 tackles, including one for a loss, against Houston Christian. Recorded a season-high 16 tackles in the victory over Nicholls. Had seven tackles, including 1.5 for loss, and a QB hurry at Northwestern State. Made nine stops, including a season-high two for loss against Prairie View A&M. Made 11 stops against Southeastern Louisiana.

2021 AT LAMAR: Played in and started all 11 games. Ended the season with 44 tackles, including 13 solo stops. Of his 44 tackles, 2.5 were for a loss. Recorded two quarterback hurries, forced a fumble and broke up a pass. Posted a season-high nine tackles, including one for a loss with a pass breakup against Jacksonville State. Recorded six tackles, including two for losses against Central Arkansas. Had three stops and forced a fumble at Sam Houston.

2020 AT LAMAR: Played in six games with one start. Recorded 16 tackles, including eight solo stops. Was credited with 1.5 tackles for loss. Totaled a season-high four stops against UIW and at McNeese. Two of his tackles against the Cowboys were unassisted. He also assisted on a TFL at McNeese. Had two three-tackle performances

2019 AT LAMAR: Utilized his redshirt.

2018 AT INCARNATE WORD: Played in 10 games during his rookie season. Recorded 16 tackles, with 10 unassisted stops. Had a season-high six tackles against New Mexico.

HIGH SCHOOL
Signed with UIW out of high school. A two-star prospect out of high school according to 247Sports.com. Rated as one of the top 400 players in the state of Texas and one of the top 100 inside linebackers according to 247Sports.com. Led DeSoto to a 10-2 (.833) overall record and a 6-1 (.857) district mark as a senior.
 
PERSONAL
Son of Trevia Clark and Lorenzo Jackson. Sport management major. Birthday is June 12. Volunteers at local food banks.
