2008: Appeared in six games as a reserve defensive back. Saw time against Indiana State (9-20), Toledo (10-18), Bowling Green (10-25), Ball State (11-5), Central Michigan (11-12), and Kent State (11-18).

High School: Team MVP, captain, first team All-Central Suburban League South for conference champion and 12-2 state finalist as a senior. Earned first team all-state honors at quarterback after completing 214-of-317 pass attempts for 2,763 yards, 33 touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 831 yards and 15 scores, and as kicker after connecting on 44-of-48 PATs and 10-of-14 field goals during senior season. Set school record for longest field goal in playoffs (50 yards) as senior. Named Offensive MVP in East vs. West Shrine All-Star Game following final prep season. Team MVP, captain and first team all-conference selection for state runner-up as a junior. Completed 80-of-117 passes for 1,416 yards and 17 touchdowns with four interceptions. Added 346 rushing yards and nine TDs on the ground during his junior campaign. Booted 54 PATs on 56 attempts and connected on 5-of-6 field goal attempts while averaging 41.6 yards per punt as junior. First team all-conference and was successful on 21-of-23 PATs and 4-of-6 field goal attempts for state finalist as a sophomore. Three-time first team all-conference selection in baseball.

Three-time Pop Warner National Finalist while in sixth, seventh and eighth grade. Aspires to be a firefighter. Fan of Barry Sanders and The Ultimate Warrior.
