Biography

2014:
Started all 13 games as a senior right guard...in his first year as a full-time starter, Pitt helped the NIU offense average 442.5 yards per game...named NIU Offensive Lineman of the Game against UNLV (9-13) and at Western Michigan (11-28)...blocked for a Huskie rushing attack that averaged 252.9 yards per game on the ground...with his fellow lineman, wore down opposing defensive to help the Huskies outscore opponents 227-157 in the second half in 2014...kept quarterback Drew Hare standing with powerful pass blocking, a big reason why the sophomore quarterback threw just two interceptions in 299 pass attempts.

2013:

• Appeared in all 14 games as a member of the Huskies[apos] regular rotation at guard.
• Helped the NIU offense rank fifth in the nation with 519.8 yards per game.
• Blocked for the seventh best rushing attack in the nation (297.2 average).
• Played a key role on an offensive line that gave up the sixth fewest sacks in the nation (11).
• Helped NIU gain the eighth-most yards in MAC history (698) at Kent State (10-5).

2012:
• Appeared in all 14 games for the Huskies and started at right guard in the season opener against Iowa (9-1).
• Member of several Huskie special teams units, including the PAT/FG unit and punt protection squad.

2011:
• Saw action in all 14 games as a member of the punt protection unit and on the field goal/PAT squad.

2010:
• Redshirted.

High School:
• Second team all-state selection as a senior.
• Earned first team all-area and all-conference honors as a junior and senior.
• Second team all-area and all-conference offensive lineman as a sophomore.
• Three-year team captain named best offensive lineman for the Trojans his final two seasons.
• Played in every game from his sophomore through senior years.
• Posted a 169-24 record as a four-year letterwinner in wrestling, setting school records for most wins and most career pins.
