Nick Hankerson begins his second season as a graduate assistant with the NIU men’s basketball program in 2020-21. Hankerson is involved in numerous aspects of Huskie basketball, including video breakdown, player development and day-to-day operations.
Hankerson began as a student manager at NIU during the 2015-16 season and worked as a manager for four full seasons before moving into the graduate assistant role during the 2019-20 campaign. Hankerson earned his bachelor’s degree from NIU in communications in 2019 and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in digital marketing.
