Biography

2023
• Saw action in all 13 games on the season, contributing on special teams and in a back-up role at defensive tackle. 
• Made three tackles, two solo. 
• Served as a punt protector on the punt team. 
• Played snaps on the defensive line versus Tulsa (9-23) and at Akron (10-7).
• Earned CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-MAC honors.

2022
•    Reserve defensive lineman played in all 12 games as a punt protector on the Huskies’ punt team.
•    Earned Academic All-MAC honors. 

2021
•    Saw action in every game as a punt protector on the punt team.
•    Also saw limited duty as a reserve defensive lineman. 
•    Made a pair of tackles on the year, with an assisted tackle at Michigan (9-18) and a solo stop versus Ball State (11-10).  
•    Qualified for the 2021 Academic All-MAC team.

2020
•   Redshirted, did not see action.

HIGH SCHOOL
• Played defensive end and offensive tackle at Canton High.
• Recorded 55 tackles and eight tackles for loss with six sacks in nine games as a senior.
• Led the team in tackles at defensive end in 2018 with 31 in his first year playing the position.
• Added 1.5 tackles for loss, two pass break-ups, and forced a fumble.
• Wrestling state qualifier at 220 pounds as a junior after posting a 27-11 record during the season.
• Placed ninth in the discus at 2A State Meet in track and field.

PERSONAL
• Birthday is March 15th.
• Son of Mary Louise and Robert Waskow.
• Has four older brothers and sisters.
• Graduated with his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in May 2024.
