PRIOR TO NIU (2021-22 at Notre Dame College/2018-19 at James Madison)
2022 (Redshirt Junior): Played in three games and caught three passes for 32 yards … had a long catch of 19 yards versus Glenville State … caught two passes for 13 yards at Ashland in the season finale.
 
2021 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in all 13 games... Caught 39 passes for 629 yards and five touchdowns, all second on the team... Averaged 16.1 yards per catch and 48.4 yards per game... Ran the ball twice for 26 yards, which included a touchdown run against Ashland, on Sept. 4... Had a season-high 115 receiving yards on Sept. 25, against W.Va. State... Hauled in one touchdown in each of the final three games of the season, including back-to-back playoff games.
 
2020 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in all five games for Notre Dame College in Ohio... Hauled in seven receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown.
 
2019 at JMU (Redshirt Freshman): Did not see any action... CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (Spring 2020).
 
2018 at JMU (Freshman): Redshirted to retain a year of eligibility.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
All-Region as a senior… All-Conference as a junior and senior… Part of Yorktown’s state runner-up team as a sophomore… Dual-sport athlete who also played basketball and ran track… National Honor Society… Had a 3.5+ GPA during all sports seasons.

Full name is Davis Cole Patterson… Son of Melvin and Desi Patterson… Has a brother, Max, and sister, Chloe… His father played football at Stephen F. Austin and with the Philadelphia Eagles… He had two uncles play at Baylor… His cousin, Blake, plays at TCU... Majoring in Sport Management.
