2023
• Key member of the Huskie special teams played on the punt, kickoff and kickoff return units. 
• Saw action in all 13 games.
• Made six tackles, three solo, on the year.
• Recorded a pair of solo stops in the Eastern Michigan game (10-21)
• Also totaled a pair of tackles at Central Michigan (10-31).
• Had one tackle versus Tulsa (9-23) and at Akron (10-7).
• Named to the Academic All-MAC team. 

2022
•    Special teams specialist saw action in all 12 games in his first season as a Huskie.
•    Played on the kickoff, kickoff return, punt and punt return teams during the season. 
•    Assisted on tackles on special teams at Kentucky (9-24) and in the Toledo (10-8) and Miami (11-16) games. 
•    Recovered a fumble on a kickoff in NIU’s win at Eastern Michigan (10-15). 

PRIOR TO NIU
2021 at Upper Iowa
•    Led the Peacocks in tackles with 72 in 11 games in 2021.
•    Credited with 2.5 tackles for loss and a pair of pass break-ups.
•    Registered a season-high 11 stops versus both Northern State (9-18) and Wayne State (10-30).
•    Recorded tackles for loss versus Augustana (10-9) and Minnesota State (10-16).
•    Hit double digits with 10 tackles and recovered a fumble versus Minnesota State.
•    Both of his pass break ups came versus Minot State (10-23).
•    All seven of his tackles versus Sioux Falls (11-13) were solos and he had six solo tackles in the Augustana game.

HIGH SCHOOL
•    Two-way player at Fremd High School.
•    Made 165 tackles in three varsity seasons, including 110 in 11 games as a junior with 42 solo stops.
•    Totaled 50 tackles, 30 solo, his sophomore season.
•    Helped Fremd to the MSL West title and the second round of the 8A state playoffs.
•    Also played baseball.

•    Son of Maria and John Rattin and brother of former Huskie linebacker Nick.
•    Business administration major.
