Biography

2014: Named the Nan Harvey Sportswoman of the Year Award winner by the Mid-American Conference as a senior...Started all 57 games for the Huskies, with 44 at shortstop and 13 at second base...Hit .272 with nine doubles and five home runs, both good for third on the team...Ranked second for NIU in runs scored (33) and third in RBIs (30)...Led the team with 101 assists in the field to go along with a .921 fielding percentage...Successfully reached base in 10-straight games from March 11 to March 29...Also had an eight-game hitting streak from March 11 to March 26...Named MAC West Player of the Week for March 24, hitting .800, slugging 1.667, driving in four runs and scoring three runs in two games against Iowa State...Also earned the POTW award for April 7 after batting .636 with seven RBIs that included a grand slam...Named to the Academic All-MAC team.

2013: One of only two players to start all 58 games, 50 at second base, four at first and four at shortstop...Batted .273 with 47 hits in 172 at bats...Established career highs in runs (22), doubles (11) and triples (2)...Second on the team in home runs with five...Tallied 12 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games...Drove in a season-high four runs in a 2-for-3 performance at Northwestern (4/16/13), both hits were doubles...Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored vs. Butler (3/3/13).

2012: Started 51 of the Huskies[apos] 53 games, making 24 starts at second base, 18 at first base, eight at third and starting one game at designated player...Tallied 49 hits in 151 at bats for a .325 batting average... Recorded a season-high 18-game hitting streak from Feb. 17-Mar. 17...Hit a team-leading 10 home runs and led the team in three other offensive categories, including slugging percentage (.576), RBIs (36) and sacrifice flies (4)...Recorded 11 multi-hit games including a 4-for-4 day and two RBIs versus Akron (4/21/12).

2011: Saw action in 23 of 53 games, starting eight games, including six at designated hitter and one each at first and third...Named to the 2011 MAC All-Freshman Team...Second on the team in slugging percentage (.553) and second in batting average (.368)...Hit her first career home run, a walk-off, as part of a 2-for-2 afternoon versus Central Michigan (4/2/11)...Hit a three-run home run to give NIU the lead at Ball State (5/8/11)...Achieved Victory Scholar status (3.5-4.0 G.P.A.) within NIU[apos]s Academic Excellence program.

High School: Garnered first team 4A all-state honors as a junior...Selected to Frontier League first team in 2007 and 2009, while earning second team in 2010 and honorable mention in 2008...Named team MVP in 2009 after hitting .409 with 21 RBIs and scoring 19 runs...Helped lead the Cyclones to three conference championships, two regional championships (2007, 2009) and one Class 4A runner-up finish (2009)...Four-year varsity letter winner...Led team with .474 batting average senior year and holds school record with 83 RBIs and 136 hits in a season.
