Christina Ekhomu

Christina Ekhomu is in her second season as Graduate Assistant for the Northern Illinois University women’s basketball program.
 
Ekhomu graduated from Lewis University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. As a member of the Flyers’ women’s basketball team for the 2017-18 season, Ekhomu played in all 32 games as Lewis posted a record of 24-8. She transferred to Lewis from the University of St. Francis, where she played three seasons as starting point guard for the Fighting Saints. Ekhomu was named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Team all three years, and was an All-CCAC Honorable Mention selection in 2015. In the 2016-17 season, Ekhomu led St. Francis to a 34-2 season and the program’s first appearance in the NAIA Final Four.
 
She has been a camp instructor for both Lewis and the Doug Bruno Basketball Camp.
