Prior to NIU: Four-year letterwinner at Prairie High School…Averaged 17.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game as a senior in leading Prairie to the Iowa State Tournament for the first time since 2006… As a junior, McCrea was named the Metro Player of the Year and a Second Team All-State selection after averaging 16.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game… Named All-Conference and All-Area three times… A Third Team All-State pick as a sophomore.
