2016: Competed in seven meets for the Huskies…Started off the season competing in the Illini Challenge 5k (18:38.4) on Sept. 2, her fastest 5k until she set her personal record at the Country Financial Invitational on Sept. 5, where she knocked off 18 seconds recording a 10th place finish at 18:15.44… Came in at 31st place in the Midwest Regional Preview 6k at 22:34.7 on Oct. 1… Finished off the season on Nov. 11 at the NCAA Midwest Regional 6k (22:02.9) coming in 108th place.

2015: Competed in the last three meets for the Huskies...Set a personal record in her first competition of the season running a 21:41.5 at the Bradley Classic 6k (Oct. 31)... Finished the season at the MAC Championships (23:08.0) and NCAA Midwest Regional (22:15.7).

2014: Competed in every race for the Huskies during her freshman season...Her best 5K time was at the Forest Park Festival (19:02) on Sept. 12 and her top 6K mark was at the Bradley Classic (22:25.9) on Oct. 17...Also won the North Central Cardinal Open, becoming the only Huskie to win a race in 2014; finished that three-mile postseason preparation race in 17:35.2 on Nov. 7...Competed at the MAC Championships and NCAA Midwest Regionals...Finished 47th at the Bradley Classic (Oct. 16) with a personal best 6k time of 21:41.5...Finished 66th at the MAC Championships (Oct. 31) with a 6k time of 23:08.0...Finised 107th at the NCAA Midwest Regional (Nov. 14) with a 6k time of 22:15.7.

High School: Ranked as one of Spain top distance athletes...Posted a season-best mark of 4:42.16 in the 1500 meters at the Meeting of Sabadell...Ran 2:12.86 in the 800 meters at the Championship of Spain as a junior...Helped her club team win the national cross country title each of her four seasons.

Personal: Born Oct. 22, 1996, in Salamanca, Spain...Daughter of Elias and Isabel Martin Hernandez... Active community volunteer...Enjoys traveling and reading...Admires former Spanish Olympian Antonio Prieto.
