2023-24: MAC Golfer of the Week Twice this season……All-MAC First Team…..Saw action in all 10 tournaments for the Huskies, with 28 rounds of golf played as a member of the starting five…..Had best finish at tie for third at the Redbird Invite (Sept. 11-12)….Tied school record for lowest round played with 67 at the Johnie Imes Invite (Sept. 25-27)….Had seven top-10 finishes this season…..Average round score of 74.03.....Academic All-MAC....CSC Academic All-District....WGCA Scholar All-American

2022-23: Competed in all 11 of the Huskies tournaments. Notched her sixth top-10 finish of the season after taking tenth at the MAC Championships in Kalamazoo. Her best finish of the year came at the Falcon Florida Classic where she took second. Her career-best six-under 210 scorecard helped NIU win the tournament. Ly drilled three-straight birdies in round two to mark a three-under 69 card, just one stroke shy of her career-best 18-hole round. Ended the season averaging 73.54 strokes per round, the best mark on the team. Named the MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week twice. Paced the team in five tournaments. All-MAC First Team. Academic All-MAC honoree.

2021-22: Paced the Huskies in rounds played (32), round-average (73.66) and round-low (69). Was one of two Huskies to play in all 10 tournaments. Finished in the top-10 in all but three of her competitions. Logged the best scorecard of her career at the Johnie Imes Invitational (Sept. 27-29) - Ly shot rounds of 72, 69 and 71 at the par 72, 6,119-yard Club at Old Hawthorne Course to finish at four-under par 212, tieing for fourth as an individual. Won the first Mid-American Conference women's golf individual championship (April 22-24) in school history, helping NIU finish second behind Kent State. Qualified for an individual spot in the NCAA Regionals to become the first Huskie to play in the NCAA. Ly's 54-hole total of 12-over par 225 put her in a tie for 29th place overall at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional. Completed her sophomore year with a school record stroke average of 73.66 over 32 rounds as she became the first NIU women's golfer to finish the season with an average below 74. 2022 MAC Championships All-Tournament Team member. First Team All Mid-American Conference honoree. 2021-22 All-American Scholar from the Women's Golf Coaches Association. 2022 Academic All Mid-American Conference team member.

Spring 2021: In the line-up in all 20 rounds over seven tournaments. Scoring average of 75.2 ranked second on the team in 2021 and ranks sixth all-time at NIU. Claimed medalist honors at the Redbird Spring Invitational (April 9-10) with rounds of 75-75-74 for a 54-hole total of eight-over par 224. On the season, recorded four top six and five top 11 finishes. Shot career-best two under par 214 at the season-opening Mid-American Challenge (Feb. 8-9) with rounds of 73-73-68 to finish fifth. The 68 was her season and career low round. Tied for fifth at the EKU Colonel Classic (March 29-30) with rounds of 72-73-75 for a four-over par 220. Sixth at the MAC Championships (April 24-25) at 10-over par 226 after opening with a 72. Carded a score of 75 or lower in 12 of her 20 rounds on the season and was above 79 just once. One of five Huskies to earn Academic All-MAC honors. All tournaments were played in the spring due to COVID-19. Qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur for the second consecutive year. Claimed the final spot at the St. Clair, Michigan qualifying tournament in a playoff. Shot rounds of 75 and 75 in stroke play and was tied for 63rd. Participated in a 12-woman playoff for two spots. Earned a par on the playoff hole but was eliminated when two players birdied the hole.
 
2019-20: In the line-up for every event in her freshman season. Posted a scoring average of 75.8 in 18 rounds and six stroke play tournaments. Scored a season-low 72 six times in four different tournaments. Carded a low 54-hole score of 219 at the Redbird Invitational (Sept. 8-9) and the Rio Verde Invitational (Feb. 21-23). Recorded three top 10 finishes, including a season-best fourth place at Rio Verde with rounds of 75-72-72. Seventh at the season-opening Redbird Invitational with a pair of 72s sandwiched around a 75. Had 12 rounds of 76 or lower on the year. Was NIU’s low scorer at the Rio Verde and BYU Classic. Tied for 18th at the Johnie Imes Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 2) with 54-hole score of 224 (76-76-72). Went 1-2 in three rounds at the MAC Match Play event (Feb. 3-4).  Named an All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association. Competed in the 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur in Rockville, Md. in August 2020. Shot rounds of 77 and 84 at the event.
 
Prior to NIU: Won 16 tournaments in Canada as a junior golfer, including the 2018 Ontario Junior Girls Championship. A two-time Michigan Junior Invitational Champion in 2017 and 2018. Earned five top five finishes in American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournaments. Named to the 2017-18 Ontario team and represented Team Ontario in Can-Am junior team matches. During the summer of 2018, won five of the 12 events she competed in and recorded a low round of 66 at the Kingsville-Jamieson Tour Junior Girls event. Shot two rounds in the 60s and posted a 73.8 scoring average, while posting top five finishes in 10 of 12 events she played in. 
 
Playing for Holy Names High School, was a two-time Windsor and Essex County Champion (2017 and 2018) and a two-time Southwestern and Ontario Champion (2015, 2018). Won the Ontario Federation of Secondary School Championship in 2016 and finished as runner-up in 2017 and 2018. Named Windsor Essex County Female Golfer of the Year in 2016 and 2017.
 
Personal: Earned her undergrad degree and is enrolled in the Global MBA program. Birthday is January 3. Daughter of Elizabeth and Kieu Ly.
