2018: Recorded season vault high, scoring a 9.800 against Kent State. Competed in beam lineup a total of 10 times this season. Placed 1^st on beam scoring a 9.875 against Eastern Michigan.

2017: Competed on the lineup for vault and balance beam for the Huskies in all 11 competitions. She earned a spot in the record book after hitting a 9.900 run on vault at Central Michigan (March 11) to tie NIU’s fourth highest score in school history. She tied her career high balance beam score of 9.825 at Western Michigan (Feb. 12). Van Voorhis was a part of the record-breaking squad that set the team event high score of 49.100 at Kentucky (Feb. 24), contributing with a 9.875 score.

2016: Competed in 11 meets this season. Missed State of Illinois Classic (3-5) due to minor injury. Posted Huskies’ season-high score for vault against Western Michigan (2-14) with 9.875. Holds second highest average on vault with 9.770. Placed seven times on vault. Set personal best balance beam with 9.825 at Bowling Green (3-12). Competed on vault at the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional (4-2).

2015: After competing as an exhibitionist in her first two meets of the season (Kent State and Lindenwood) of vault and beam. Has been in the starting line up since the meet at Western Michigan (2-1) where she finished second and fifth in the vault (9.725) and beam (9.650) respectively. Set her career-best score on the vault and tied for third with a 9.875 at the MAC Championships (3-21) while also scoring a 9.700 on beam. Posted a 9.825 on the vault and her career high 9.675 on beam at NIU's Tri-Meet versus Bowling Green and Alaska (2-15). Continued her hot streak at Southeast Missouri State (2-20) with a 9.800 on vault and a 9.600 on beam. At Ball St. (2-27), tallied a 9.850 on vault and a 9.725 on beam. Scored 9.825 and 9.725 in the State of Illinois Classic (3-7) before recording a 9.800 and 9.700 on vault and beam respectively.

Prep: Trained at Universal Gymnastics Inc. in Hilliard, Ohio, with four years as a USAG Level 10 competitor. In the 2014 Ohio Level 10 State Championships, she finished in the top 10 in all events with a personal best in the vault of 9.625 to place third. Recorded personal bests in the uneven bars and all-around at the 2013 Athlete Warrior Challenge, posting scores of 9.375 and 37.700, respectively. Earned a personal best mark of 9.475 in the floor exercise at the Luau in Leos Invite to finish in third place. Her best balance beam mark came in the 2013 Queen City Classic, where she won the event with a 9.550.

Personal: Born on Oct. 20, 1995 in Columbus, Ohio to parents Tracy and J. Michael Van Voorhis. Was an honor roll student all four years of high school.
