2020: Sat out the first two meets due to an injury before returning to vault lineup in the last seven meets of the year. Also competed on beam four times, including in the lineup in season’s final three meets. Scored a 9.750 or higher on all seven of her vaults and scored 9.8 or above five times to average a 9.804 on vault. Placed third or higher in five of seven meets on vault and won the event versus Illinois State (3-6) with a 9.825. Tied her career-best vault score with a 9.850 against SEMO. After performing an exhibition routine on beam at the George Washington Quad Meet (2-23), stepped into beam lineup versus Southeast Missouri (2-28). Tied her career best with a 9.825. Came back with a 9.775 on beam in the Ball State (3-1) meet. Earned Academic All-MAC recognition. Named a WCGA Scholastic All-American.
2019: Starter on vault and balance beam for the MAC Champion Huskies. Helped lead NIU to first MAC title in school history. Top vaulter on the NIU team averaged 9.787 on vault and had a team-best NQS of 9.805 on the event which tied for eighth-best in the MAC. Her average of 9.704 on balance beam ranked second on the team. Tied for eighth on vault at the MAC Championships with a 9.800. Scored a 9.750 or higher on all 12 of her vaults in 2019. Tied her career high score of 9.850 twice. Won vault in dual meets with Southeast Missouri and Illinois State and recorded nine top five finishes, including tied for fourth at Alabama Quad Meet. Added six top five finishes on balance beam with seven scores of 9.700 or higher. Achieved her career best beam score of 9.825 twice. Named to Academic All-State.
2018: Started every meet on vault and only missed two balance beam lineups during the first two meets of the season. Labeled as the “stick queen” on vault by the NIU team, Lamberti put up seven 9.800 or higher scores and ended the season with five in a row. Earned one score of 9.800 on the balance beam against Ball State (Feb. 25). Tied for seventh on vault at the MAC Championship with a 9.800, and had an uncharacteristic fall on beam.
2017: Started all 11 meets on the Vault lineup as a freshman. She recorded her season high of 9.775 versus Eastern Michigan and matched the score at the MAC Championships (March 18).
Prep: Trained at Grayslake Gymnastics Factory and competed as a level 10 gymnast during the 2014 and 2015 seasons…She has scored high on vault throughout her career with a level 10 personal best of 9.675 at the 2014 Illinois State Championships and the same score again at the 2015 Region 5 Championships…She qualified for the USAG National Championships in 2015 and took 9th place on vault with an all-around score of 36.250…She also performed well on floor, with a level 10 best of 9.450…She finished her high school career with top all-around score of 36.825 as a level 10 gymnast and looks to continue her success with NIU Gymnastics.
Personal: Born August 16, 1998 to Daniel and Christine Lamberti…Intends to major in journalism and minor in communications with an emphasis in media studies.
