2020: Earned second team All-MAC honors for the second consecutive season. Ranked second in the MAC and ninth in the South Central Region on balance beam. Tied her personal best score of 9.900 twice in 2020, at Eastern Michigan (2-7) and versus SEMO (2-28). Named MAC Specialist of the Week for the first time in her career after the EMU meet. In addition to the 9.900 on beam, contributed a career high 9.800 on vault as the Huskies posted the second-highest team score in school history. Finished with an NQS of 9.870 and an average of 9.806 on beam. Scored a 9.850 or higher on beam in six of her nine meets on the year. Placed third or higher on balance beam in seven of nine meets. Ranked 49th nationally on beam. Debuted on vault in her junior season. Scored a personal record of 9.800 on vault. Also tallied a 9.775 on vault versus Ball State (3-1). Averaged a 9.65 on vault for the year. Earned Academic All-MAC and MAC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete recognition. Named a WCGA Scholastic All-American.

2019: MAC Champion (Balance Beam); All-MAC (second team). MAC All-Tournament team; All-State; NCAA Regionals Qualifier (balance beam). Clinched team’s first MAC Championship with a 9.900 score as NIU’s last competitor on beam. Beam specialist ranked second in the MAC in NQS with a 9.875 mark. Scored a 9.800 on beam at NCAA Regionals, the Huskies’ second-best mark in Regionals on beam all-time. Posted nine scores of 9.800 or higher on beam during the season as NIU’s anchor on the event. Won beam at six meets during the year and placed in top three nine times. Recorded her career high of 9.900 for the first time versus Illinois State before repeating that effort at the MAC Championship. Tied for third at State of Illinois Championships with a 9.875. Named to Academic All-State and the Dean’s List.

2018: Competed in the final nine competitions on the balance beam starting lineup and once as an exhibitionist prior. Marked her career-high on the event at Bowling Green (March 17) with a 9.825. Lord recorded seven scores of 9.700 or better.

Prep: Trained at DeVeaus School of Gymnastics and competed as a level 10 gymnast for four years. In her first year, she qualified for Nationals. In 2015, she came in second all-around at state, and at nationals, she came in at 26 in all-around. In the 2016 Regionals she earned fifth all-around and did exceptionally on vault, taking second. During the 2016 Nationals, she finished 24th all-around and 12th on beam. She also received the Region 5 Stick award in 2016.

Personal: Born October 24, 1998 in McCordsville, Indiana. Daughter of Paula and Judd Lord. Majoring in psychology with a minor in environmental studies.
