2021
  • Competed in the all-around five times with a personal best of 39.125 to tie for third at the MAC Championships (3-20).  
  • Also scored 39 or higher in the all-around at the Illinois State Quad Meet (3-7) with a 39.000 and at the Iowa State/Illinois State Tri-Meet (3-5) with a 39.100.  
  • Started every meet on vault and bars, compiling a NQS of 9.738 and 9.831, respectively.  
  • Also posted NQS of 9.788 in nine meets on balance beam and a 9.775 in seven meets on floor exercise.  
  • Scored higher than a 9.8 on bars four times during the season. 
  • Finished in the top five at every meet when participating in the all-around, including in each of the last four meets of the season. 
  • Scored a season-high 9.850 on balance beam at the Iowa State/Illinois State Tri-Meet.  
  • Earned a season-best 9.825 on floor exercise at the MAC Championships while her top vault score came versus Bowling Green (1-31) with a 9.775.

2020: Started on all four events in four meets as one of the first all arounders for the Huskies since 2018. Posted a career best all-around score of 38.850 versus Southeast Missouri (2-28), highlighted by a career-best score of 9.875 on balance beam. Totaled a 38.725 all-around mark at Kent State (1-12). In the lineup in all nine NIU meets on uneven parallel bars and balance beam, in eight meets on floor exercise and four times on vault. Averaged a 9.797 score with an NQS of 9.810 on bars. Scored a 9.800 or higher on bars in each of the first four meets and did not score lower than a 9.750 on the year. Hit her season high and team-best mark of 9.875 versus Illinois State (3-6), one of five first-place finishes on bars for the year. Had a five-meet streak scoring 9.800 or higher on balance beam from February 2-March 1, helping her to a team-best NQS of 9.805, tied for 10th in the MAC. Went 9.725 or better in seven of nine meets. Won beam versus CMU (2-2) and had a pair of second-place finishes. In eight floor routines, scored a career-best 9.850 three times, including in last two meets of the year.  Earned a mark of 9.725 or higher on floor in each of last five meets. Earned Academic All-MAC recognition. Named a WCGA Scholastic All-American.
 
2019: Started on three events as a freshman, competing in 11 meets on vault, 12 on bars and nine total on balance beam, including seven in the Huskie lineup. Averaged a score of nearly 9.6 on 11 vaults with a season-high of 9.725 in three meets. Scored 9.625 or higher nine times. Won the uneven parallel bars title at the State of Illinois Championships (3-9) with a career-high 9.900 to make the All-State team.  Also claimed bars wins in the NIU Quad Meet (2-1), at SEMO (2-8) and at Ball State (2-17). Tallied a score of 9.800 or higher seven times. Tied for fourth at the MAC Championships (3-23) with a 9.825. Top performance on beam came in a win at the NIU Quad Meet with a score of 9.875. Also competed twice on beam and once on floor in exhibition spot.

Prep: Five-time regional qualifier and three-time Junior Olympics national qualifier for Nebraska School of Gymnastics. Two-time winner of the Nadia Comaneci Spirit Award. Posted her prep career best scores in the all-around (37.700) and on uneven parallel bars (9.5) at the 2018 J.O. Nationals. Placed ninth on balance beam and 14th in the all-around at the J.O. Nationals that season. Took third in the all-around at the 2018 Level 10 USA Gymnastics Regional meet. At the 2018 State meet, claimed titles in the all-around and on bars, beam and floor while placing second on vault. All-around champion at the 2018 Northern Lights Classic and Lucky Invitational and earned her career best beam score of 9.55 at the Northern Lights meet. Scored a career best 9.65 on floor exercise at the 2018 Gymquarters Invitational. Won the all-around title at the 2017 River City Classic after placing first on bars and beam, second on vault and third on floor exercise. Missed the rest of the season due to injury. Qualified for the Junior Olympics in 2016 and was the Level 10 all-around state champion and River City Classic all-around champion. Scored a career-high 9.4 on vault at the Peppermint Twist meet. In 2015, competed in the Region 4 Championships and qualified for the Junior Olympics.

Personal: Member of the National Honor Society at Pius X High School. Qualified for the Gold Honor Roll all four years of high school. Daughter of Scott and Karen Hooper. Interested in a career in sports marketing and majoring in marketing. Father was an All Big Eight third baseman for Nebraska and set the school record for most stolen bases in a season.
