Biography

2015 SEASON:
Played in all 18 games with eight starts for NIU as a pacey wide forward...also transitioned well to left back towards the end of the season...scored her second career goal against Milwaukee (Sept. 6)...attempted 12 shots, eight of which were on target.

2014 SEASON:
Played in 20 games and started 15 for NIU as a left winger, totaling four points...was named to the Ohana No Ka Oi All-Tournament Team for her efforts against Hawai'i (Aug. 29) and Seattle (Aug. 31)...recorded her first collegiate goal and assist against Chicago State (Sept. 12)...had two total assists with the second against Eastern Michigan (Oct. 24)...had six shots with four on target.

ROSEMOUNT HIGH SCHOOL:
Four-time letter winner and team captain during senior year...Team MVP in 2012 and 2013...All-Conference in 2012 and 2013...All-Area in 2012...Named Metro Player of the Week by the Star Tribune on September 3, 2013.

CLUB/ODP:
Played for Minnesota Thunder Academy and St. Croix Academy...Minnesota Youth Soccer Association Champion in 2011 and 2012...Midwest Regional League Champion in 2011 and 2012...Regional II Champion in 2012...Part of Disney Showcase in 2012 and 2013...Part of Dallas and San Diego showcases in 2013.

Daughter to Sandra and Jon...Jon Knott is a former football and track athlete who attended the Hamline University...Intends to major in Psychology...Made honor roll each year from 2010 to 2013...Volunteer with Feed My Starving Children, Dakota United Adaptive Sports, and Rosemount Area Athletics Soccer Clinics...Enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping, watching movies, and doing anything adventurous...Most admires Mia Hamm because "of what she has accomplished in athletics, and also because she stresses the importance of teamwork."
