2017-18: Indoor – Competed in the 600 meters, 800 meters, 3,000 meters and mile … Finished second in the 600 meters at the Black & Gold Premier (Jan. 27) in 1:35.26 … Finished second in the 3,000 meters at the Black & Gold Premier (Jan. 27) in 10:28.71 … Finished fifth in the 800 meters at the MAC Championships (Feb. 24) with a time of 2:14.49 … Had a season-best time of 2:10.98 to finish sixth in the 800 meters at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 9) … Finished seventh in the mile with a time of 4:57.90 at the Notre Dame Invite (Jan. 20). Outdoor – Competed in the 400 meters, 800 meters and 1,500 meters … Finished third in the 800 meters at the MAC Championships (May 12) with a season-best time of 2:09.84 … Finished second in the 800 meters at the Huskie Classic (May 4) and seventh at the Michael Johnson Invitational (April 21) … Had two top-10 finishes in the 1,500 meters, taking seventh at the Crimson Tide Invitational (April 7) in 4:43.24 and fifth at the UTA Invitational (March 24) in 4:47.84.

2016-17: Indoor- She competed in the mile run for two meets this season...She started the season at the Illini Classic (1/14) coming in at a time of 5:11.81...At the Fred Wilt (1/28), Martin came in 2^nd place at a time of 5:12.31. Outdoor- Martin competed in eight meets for the Huskies outdoor season...She set a personal best score and claimed MAC Champion in the 800-meter run at the MAC Championship (5/13)...She ran at a time of 2:07.80. Martin set a NIU School record with the distance medley relay team...Martin was named the First-Team All-MAC at the MAC Championship...She set a NIU School Record along with the distance medley relay team...She was named First-Team All-MAC along with earning Academic All-MAC accolades.

2015-16: Indoor- Competed in one meet... Finished second in the mile run at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invite (12/4) with a personal record of 5:06.00. Outdoor- Competed in all seven meets for the Huskies... Qualified for the MAC Championships (5/13) in both the 800 and 1,500 meters, just missing advancing to the final of the 1,500 after posting a PR of 4:45.62 in her preliminary heat... Finished in the top-25 of all nine of her races through outdoor season... Academic All-MAC honoree for the first time.

2014-15: Indoor- Competed in three indoor meets as a freshman...Finished 12th in the 800-meter run at the Jack Johnson Classic (1/31) and 15th in the mile at the Illini Classic (1/17)...Also ran with the 4x400 meter relay team at Jack Johnson and the sprint medley relay team at the Meyo Invitational (2/7). Outdoor- Ran in seven meets for the Huskies as an 800- and 1,500- meter specialist...Won the 800 at the Huskie Open (5/9) with a personal record time of 2:13.88...Set a PR in the 1,500 at the Bobcat Invitational (3/28) in 4:51.54, finishing 13th...Also ran with the 4x800 meter relay unit at the Texas Relays (3/26), where the Huskies finished ninth.

High School: Ranked as one of Spain top distance athletes...Posted a season-best mark of 4:42.16 in the 1500 meters at the Meeting of Sabadell...Ran 2:12.86 in the 800 meters at the Championship of Spain as a junior...Helped her club team win the national cross country title each of her four seasons.

Personal: Born Oct. 22, 1996, in Salamanca, Spain...Daughter of Elias and Isabel Martin Hernandez... Active community volunteer...Enjoys traveling and reading...Admires former Spanish Olympian Antonio Prieto.
