Indoor: Competed in the 400-, 600- and 800-meter races during her sophomore indoor season…Ran personal record 400-meter time of 57.56 at the Meyo Invitational (Feb. 3) and recorded best finish of the season at the Blue & Orange Open (Feb.17) after crossing the finish line in fourth…Recorded personal record in the 800-meter run at the Notre Dame Invite (Jan. 13) with a time of 2:20.97 and her season best 600-meter race at the Blue & Gold Open (Dec. 1) with a time of 1:37.98, narrowly missing her personal record.
Outdoor: Ran in the 400-meter dash and 400-meter hurdles in eight meets throughout the season…Scored points for the Huskies at the MAC Championships (Buffalo, 5/12) in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal record of 1:00.65 as she crossed the finish line in fourth place…Ran fastest 400-meter dash on the Huskies own turf as she completed in 57.10 second to take first at the Huskies Classic (May 4).
2016-17
Indoor: Curtis competed in seven meets for the Huskies...She scored nine personal best scores during the season, one at the Fred Wilt (1/28) in the 200-meter run, time at 27.00...At GVSU Big Meet in the 400-meter run, Curtis ran a time of 54.84...Meet at the Illinois Dual, Curtis came in 9th place for the 300-meter run at a time of 42.43 setting another personal best.
Outdoor: Competed in six meets for the Huskies and set two personal best scores during the outdoor season...One was set at the Raleigh Relays (3/25) in the 400-meter run at a time of 57.67...Her second personal best was set at the MAC Championship (5/13) in the 400-meter hurdles at a time of 1:02.41.
High School: Four-time varsity letterwinner...Voted team captain and most valuable runner during junior and senior seasons...Active in softball, where she was a two-time conference MVP and First-Team All-Conference catcher, and basketball...Earned Second-Team All-Conerence accolades three times.
