Outdoor: Ran a time of 4:39.98 in the 1,500 meters at the MAC Championships, finishing 15th (May 7) … Had a season-best time of 4:32.01 in the 1,500 meters, finishing 11th at the Drake Relays (April 22) … Won the 800 meters at the Bobcat Invitational in a season-best time of 2:13.91 (March 27).

2017-18
Cross Country: Competed in the UIC Flames/Flyer Opener (Sept. 2) and Illini Open (Oct. 20). Finished 36th at Illinois in 20:31.7 to set personal best 5k time and finished in 16:42.50 in UIC’s meet to set 4k best.
Indoor: Ran in seven competitions for the Huskies…Competed as a freshman but is a sophomore in academics, which allowed her to earn Academic All-MAC and MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete as a freshman…Recorded fastest 800-meter run at the Blue & Gold Invitational (Dec. 1) in 2:15.28 to also earn her best finish of the season, coming in second place…Finegan ran in the 400-meter and 600-meter races each one time with times of 1:00.87 and 1:40.70, respectively.
Outdoor: Ran the 800-meter race during the Outdoor season in seven meets and the 1,500-meter race (4:51.86) at the University of Texas-Arlington Invitational (March 24)…Second fastest Huskie in the 800- with a personal best time of 2:12.82 at the Huskie Classic (May4)...Was named to the Academic All-MAC team for a second time.
High School: Four-time letterwinner in track & field and three-time letterwinner in cross country…during senior track season was a part of the conference champion 4x400 relay team and during junior season was a conference champion with the 4x800 relay squad…Received All-State honors during sophomore and juniors seasons in the 4x800-meter relay and during her senior year in the 800-meter run…Holds the Fremd High School records in the 400, 800, 4x400 and 4x800 meter races and relays.
Personal: Born Jan. 2, 1998 in Arlington Heights, Ill….Daughter of Robert and Anne Finegan…majoring in electrical engineering with a minor in applied mathematics.
