Biography
2006 Highlights: Posted a match-high 24 kills in a five-game victory over Eastern Kentucky (Aug. 25) in the season-opener...added 11 kills in a three-game sweep of Western Illinois (Aug. 26)...was named to the NIU / Comfort Inn and Suites Invitational All-Tournament team after averaging 15 kills in three matches...was hampered for much of the season with bilateral foot injuries.
2005 Highlights: Started in 26 of the 33 matches that she appeared in...finished the season with a career-best 284 kills, good for third-best on the team...claimed a career-high 25 kills in a five-game victory over Akron (Nov. 10)...picked up at least nine kills in 19 of her last 21 matches...garnered double-digit kills in 14 out of 33 matches...averaged 14.2 putaways over her last six matches of the season...had a string of four consecutive weekends with a career-high in kills, culminating with a 17-kill performance in a four-game win over Bowling Green (Oct. 2)...keyed NIU to a first-round Mid-American Conference victory over Akron (Nov. 15) with 15 kills...gathered a match-high 15 kills and finished with a career-best hitting percentage of .480 (15 kills, 3 errors, 25 attacks) in a three-game loss at the hands of Western Michigan (Nov. 3).
2004: Became a mainstay in the Huskie lineup about halfway through the season and never left ... scored 110 kills in her first collegiate season while also averaging 0.74 digs and 0.37 blocks per game ... had at least three kills in each of her final eight matches of the year including a season-high eight to go with a .160 hitting percentage, two digs, and two blocks in a three-game sweep of Toledo (Nov. 11) ... hit .400 or better in two consecutive MAC matches late in the season, attacking the net at a .417 clip (6-1-12) at Toledo (Oct. 29) before returning home to hit .400 (3-1-5) against MAC champion Ohio ... posted a season-high five total blocks in just four games against Bradley at the UNI Panther Invitational (Sept. 18) ... notched 10 digs or more in back-to-back matches on the same day early in the season, collecting 11 'ups' against South Carolina to start the day before closing out play at the Duke Invitational with 12 more against the host Blue Devils (Sept. 11).
Prep: Four-year letterwinner for perennial local power Sycamore High School ... earned three straight All-Suburban Prairie Conference nominations including back-to-back First Team nods her junior and senior seasons ... posted career-high totals in kills (206), attack percentage (.360), and block assists (48) in 2003 while spearheading SHS[apos]s charge to its second consecutive sectional championship ... also helped lead the Spartans to four straight 30-win seasons, a quartet of regional championships, and three Suburban Prairie Conference titles.
Club Volleyball: Spent one season each with Deb Klock[apos]s Northern Illinois Juniors and Jen White[apos]s Sky High NI before joining Club Fusion and head coach Wayne King ... played an integral role in Fusion[apos]s three straight Top 25 finishes in the club division of the Junior Olympic National Tournament including its 2002-03 national championship run.
