2021 Fall: Played in 13 matches…Had eight kills and seven blocks at Eastern Illinois (9/2)...Hit .375 with four kills in win over Bethune-Cookman (9/10)...Became the first Huskie since 2016 to have 10 blocks in a match in NIU’s 3-0 sweep of Buffalo (11/13); also hit .500 with seven kills...Hit .571 with eight kills and four blocks in 3-1 win over Western Michigan (11/17).

2021 Spring: Academic All-MAC…Played in 12 matches… Had six kills and tied a career-high with seven blocks in season opener at Bowling Green on Jan. 22… Recorded a season-high eight kills with three blocks in 3-2 win over Toledo on Jan. 28… Had four blocks in both matches at Central Michigan Feb. 4-5… Put down seven kills with five blocks against Eastern Michigan on Feb. 11… Had six kills off the bench at Western Michigan on March 23.

2019: Academic All-MAC… Played in 31 sets over 15 matches… Recorded a career-high seven blocks against Texas Tech on September 9… Had a season-high 13 kills during NIU’s 3-1 win against Niagara on September 13.

2018: Played in 13 matches and 24 sets… Had three kills and two blocks in sweep of Milwaukee on Aug. 28… Also had three kills against Southeast Missouri State (Sept. 12) and East Tennessee State (Sept. 14).

Prior to NIU:
Three-Year letterwinner at West Chicago High School... Helped lead West Chicago to the Upstate 8 Conference championship as a senior... Earned All-Conference and All-Area honors as a senior... Led Upstate 8 Conference in blocks during her junior and senior years, with 123 in her final season.

Personal: Daughter of Tsugumi and Jeff Gromos... Majoring in Marketing and Business Administration and minoring in Japanese... Member of National Honors Society and was Student Ambassador... Inspired by her father who played professional basketball.
