Danny Mirda is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Northern Illinois University volleyball team.
Mirda played collegiate club volleyball as a setter and libero at Wisconsin-Oshkosh from 2015 to 2018. He was part of the first division-three club team from UW-Oshkosh to compete at the NVCF National Championship, tying for fifth place in 2016 and ninth in 2017. He has assisted in coaching at the UW-Oshkosh volleyball camps for three years.
Mirda graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Women and Gender Studies with a certificate in LGBTQ Studies. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
