- Tied his season-high for strikeouts with three at Eastern Michigan in 1.1 innings on May 19

Prior to NIU: Played at Des Moines Area Community College in 2022…Posted a 4-3 record in 11 starts…Struck out 62 batters in 52 innings…Played his prep baseball at Johnston High School…Led Johnston to an Iowa state championship in 2020 and the state championship game in 2019.
