Biography
2007 Highlights: Appeared in 25 games for the Huskies...in a five-game match at Ball State (Oct. 6), tallied a season-high six blocks, only one shy of her career-high, to help the Huskies secure a win...recorded season-high six kills on 11 attempts in a three-game match versus Ball State (Nov. 9).
2006 Highlights: Used season as medical redshirt campaign.
2005 Highlights: Missed the final seven matches of the season with a right foot injury...was fourth on the team with 203 kills...totaled double-digit kills in nine out of the 25 matches that she appeared in...Huskies were 6-3 in matches where Beisel collected more than 10 kills...started strong out of the gate during her rookie campaign, averaging 16 kills in her first three matches, including a 23 kill, .556 (23 kills, three errors, 36 attacks) hitting percentage performance against Northern Iowa (Aug. 27)...had a season-best seven blocks against Bradley in the championship of the Radisson Hotel Invitational (Sept. 10)...pounded home 18 kills in a three-game set against Montana (Sept. 16).
Prep: Finished 10th in Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association voting for Miss Volleyball Indiana 2004...four-year varsity letterwinner and 2004 co-captain for head coach Christy Unger at Rossville High School...three-time IHSVCA All-State performer including back-to-back first team selections in 2003 and 2004...also added an honorable mention All-State certificate in 2002 as a sophomore...earned three consecutive first team All-Hoosier Heartland Conference honors (2002-04)...led Rossville to a 27-7 overall record, HHC title, and sectional championship during her senior season while breaking just about every school record in the book...ended her RHS career as the standard bearer for single-match kills (32) and blocks (16), and single-season kills (583), hitting percentage (.395) and blocks (189)...also set school records for career kills (1,371) and blocks (450).
Club Volleyball: Played three club seasons with Performance Point under coaches Megan Peterson, Kim McConaha and Chad Marshal...also participated in the 2004 High Performance Camp held in Florida.
