2022-23: Finished his first season as a Huskie with an overall record of 9-4, wrestling at 149 pounds… Logged three major decision wins, two tech falls, and one pin in his first season… Went on a three-match win streak at the MSU Open, recording a victory by tech fall against Zander Graham (Ashland) and a major decision win against David Shue (Lake Erie)… Earned first career pin against Xavier Bryne (Henry Ford College) at 1:32… Went on a three-match win streak at the Harper Open, logging his second career tech fall against Niko Martinez (Southwestern Michigan CC) and back-to-back victories via major decision against Gage Ensign (Southwestern Michigan CC) and Mason Alley (Indiana).

High School: Wrestleled for four years at Brighton High School in Brighton, Mich. ... had a championship-level senior year with the Bulldogs – amassed a record of 43-3 and pinned 26 opponents under the direction of his head coach, Shawn Scott ... in March of 2022, capped his high school career with a Division I state championship at the 135-weight class ... beat Caleb Youngblood (Romeo) 8-4 en route to winning the state championship.
