2017-18: Wrestled to a record of 16-16, including 5-7 in duals at 133-pounds… Started all 11 duals for the Huskies this season… Went 2-2 en route to a fifth-place finish at the MAC Championships (Mar. 3-4) … Improved to 67-55 as a Huskie, which is the active team leader in wins on the team … Placed second at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open (Nov. 4) … Got hand raised twice at the Midlands Championships (Dec. 29) … Scored four major decisions, two tech falls, and three pin fall victories.  

2016-17: Completed his redshirt sophomore year with a 14-18 record and a 50-39 overall record…Holds the team’s season record for fastest pin at 23 seconds…Tallied five pins and four technical falls throughout the season...Wrestled in 15 of the 16 duals at 133-pounds…Placed eighth at the MAC Championships (3/5).

2015-16: Started every dual for NIU at 125 pounds as a redshirt freshman…Finished the season with a 15-15 overall record and a winning 9-7 mark in duals…Tied for fourth on the team in dual wins (9) and points (35)…Won six of his first seven dual matches in 2016…Picked up multiple wins at the Michigan State Open (11/15) and the Lindenwood Open (11/21)...Tallied nine bonus-point wins: four by technical fall, three via pin and two by major decision.

2014-15: Redshirted as a true freshman... Went 21-6 to lead all NIU redshirts... Placed in five of the seven open tournaments in which he competed... Ended the year on a 10-match winning streak... Notched 14 bonus-point wins... Picked up a first-place finish at the Joe Parisi Open (11/22) with two pins and two major decisions as part of a 5-0 performance... Won the Alma Open (1/24) with two technical falls and two major decisions... Outscored his opposition, 61-6 in four matches in the Alma tournament... Took top honors are the Duhawk Open (1/31) and the Harper Open (2/7), going 3-0 at both tournaments... Pinned Loras's Jake LaMantia in 32 seconds for the third-fastest pin of the season for NIU... Claimed a sixth-place finish at the EMU Open (11/15) with a 4-2 record.

High School: Four-time varsity letterwinner and three-time team captain at Linn-Mar High School... Named to the all-conference and all-area teams each of his four seasons... Went undefeated and won a state title as a senior... Finished his junior season with a 47-4 record and 30 pins en route to conference and sectional titles at 120 pounds... Placed fifth at the state tournament in 2013... Helped the Lions claim conference and district championships, along with a fifth-place team finish at state in the 2012-13 season... Claimed third place at the state tournament as a junior and a sophomore... Finished the 2011-12 season with a 45-6 record and 29 pins... Went 42-5 as a freshman, notching 24 pins in the process... Won the 120 weight class at the 2013 USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals with a perfect 6-0 record... Took first place at the 2012 InterMat JJ Classic and eighth at the 2011 Fargo Freestyle Nationals... Currently ranked 13th nationally by Amateur Wrestling News, 16th by InterMat and 17th by Flo Wrestling.
