2017-18: Wrestled to a 15-16 record including 5-7 in duals … Earned a spot on the podium, placing fifth at the MAC Championships (Mar. 3-4) … Improved his career mark to 43-43 as a Huskie … Got his hand raised twice at the Midlands Championships (Dec. 29) defeating Cody Crawford of Oregon State and Spencer Empey of Cal Poly … Earned MAC All-Academic Team accolades …  Went 4-2 on his run to a fifth-place finish at the Lindenwood Open (Nov. 15) … Wrestled in 10 of 11 duals this season … Won two matches in major decision fashion … Named NIU Scholar Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Hoosier Duals (Dec. 2) defeating Fletcher Miller of Indiana, 12-6, and Collin Kelly of Cleveland State, 15-2. 

2016-17: Capped off the season with a seventh place finish at the MAC Championships (3/5) and a 12-19 record…Improved his career record to 29-27 as a Huskie…Competed in 15 of the 16 duals at heavyweight…Went 4-2 on his run to a sixth place finish at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/5)…Captured the heavyweight title at the Michigan State Open (11/20)…Awarded NIU Scholar Athlete of the Week (11/14-20)…Was named to the Academic All-MAC Team.

2015-16: Impressive 17-8 record wrestling unattached at heavyweight as a true freshman at six open tournaments…Won the Duhawk Open (1/30) with a decision over Rylee Streifel of Minnesota in the final…Placed second at the National Collegiate Open (3/5)…Also placed at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/7) and the Flash Flanagan Open (1/9)…Finished second overall on the team with six pins.
