Ty Prazma

Ty Prazma enters his third season as an assistant at NIU in the 2018-19 campaign.

While at VMI, Prazma played a key roll in coaching freshman Neal Richards to the NCAA tournament and training junior Dalton Henderson to the All-Academy Championship title. At last year's SoCon Championships, with the assistance of Prazma, the Keydets more than doubled their point total from the previous year.

Prior to VMI, Prazma was a standout wrestler at the University of Missouri, where he wrestled at the 165-pound weight class and collected 83 career wins. Prazma finished in sixth place at the 2014 Midlands Championships and earned his varsity letterman status his last two seasons.

In the classroom, Prazma was named to the Big 12 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (2010-12), the dean's list, and to the Academic All-MAC Team (2014-15). He was also given a MAC Presidential Award for accumulating at least a 3.5 GPA in graduate coursework and was one of 28 student-athletes at Missouri named to the Three Stripes Club in recognition for high performance in academics, athletics, and society.
