High School: Spent his senior season at Wahlert Catholic High School after competing for Belvidere North High School in Illinois … Compiled a 127-18 record throughout his prep career … Captured an Iowa state championship at 165 pounds as a senior.

Personal: Son of Zack and Carrie Young … Is the brother of Cameron and Brianna
