2015-16: Became one of NIU’s top wrestlers, posting a 21-12 record…Finished second on the team in dual points (40), third in dual wins (10) and fourth in overall wins (21)…Led the Huskies with eight major decisions and added three pins…Went 4-3 in MAC duals…Placed fifth at 174 during the MAC Championships (3/6) thanks to two wins over No. 32 Jacob Davis of Eastern Michigan…Was in contention for an at-large bid to NCAAs…Also placed at the Michigan State Open (11/15) and the Midlands Championships (12/30).
2014-15: Finished with a 13-10 record as the Huskies' primary starter at 174 pounds... Ended the year ranked 27th in the NCAA RPI rankings... Placed fifth at the MAC Championships (3/7-8) defeating Eastern Michigan's Kayne MacCallum and Old Dominion's Austin Coburn... Went 2-2 at the Midlands Championships (12/29-30) with wins over Penn's Bradley Wukie and Lehigh's Ben Haas... Went 8-4 from the start of January through the end of the season... Notched a 7-4 decision against Jake Residori of SIU Edwardsville (1/17), helping the Huskies clinch a 19-15 dual win against the Cougars.
2013-14: Went 12-5 with one start at 165 pounds... Took first place a the University of Dubuque Open (2/15), tech falling Loras' Tyler Ries, 16-1, before pinning Luther's Javier Reyes... Claimed fourth at the Grand View Open (1/25) with a 5-2 record, a mark that included a pin, tech fall and major decision... Finished eighth at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/3) with a 5-3 record... Won a 6-2 decision over Brad Metz of Findlay (11/16) in his first-career dual start.
2012-13: Finished his first season with a record of 14-9... Won three matches determined by major decision... Third on the team for quickest pin with a time of 0:43 against Jerry Harris of Triton College (2/2)... Placed second in the 174 class at the Flash Flanagan Open (1/12)... Tied for fourth on the team with a record of four pins... Fifth at the Kaufman-Brand Open (12/1) and the Harper Open (2/2).
High School: Finished as the state runner up at 160 as a senior at Winnebago High School... Rated as the 10th best wrestler in the nation at 160 by WIN Magazine... Went undefeated as a junior at 152 en route to an Illinois state championship... Finished second at 145 in 2010 after ending the season with a 39-4 record...
