Paige Shinberg is a seasoned professional with a strong background in athletic equipment management. Currently serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Brand and Equipment Management at Northern Illinois University (NIU), Paige brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role.
 
Shinberg’s journey at NIU began in 2010 when she joined the Equipment Operations staff as a student manager. Over the years, her dedication and commitment led to her appointment as the Huskie Stadium Equipment Manager, responsible for overseeing equipment needs across multiple sports, including baseball, softball, gymnastics, and wrestling. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Paige was promoted to the role of Head Equipment Manager for football in May 2016.

Shinberg moved to Temple University in 2019 and worked with the Owls football program until 2022. During her time at Temple, she served as the Head Equipment Manager for Football, managing daily operations in the equipment room, including managing a staff of one full-time assistant and 10 student managers, vendor coordination, negotiations, budgets, ordering, gear design, gear issuance (tracking/reordering), equipment fitting, logistics for equipment travel and laundry services.
 
An active member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA), Shinberg has held an AEMA certification since 2015. Her dedication to the association is evident in her role as the Certification Steering Committee Chair. In recognition of her exemplary work, Shinberg was honored as the District 2 Equipment Manager of the Year in 2022 and was a finalist for the prestigious AEMA Glenn Sharp award, which celebrates outstanding contributions to the association.
 
Shinberg earned her Bachelor of Science in Management with an emphasis in Leadership and Management from NIU in 2014.
