Fall World Series Game Three: Red 5, Black 4

The Red team scored three first inning runs, keyed by a two-run homer by Justin Behm and held off a Black rally for a 5-4 win. Through three games, the Red team has a 2-1 series advantage.

Pat Minogue singled in the first and scored on a RBI single by Justin Hood before Behm delivered a two-run blast as the Red put a three-spot up in the first. The Black scored a first inning run of their own when Joe Buonavolanto tripled and scored a sacrifice fly by Bobby Stevens.

The teams traded runs in the second inning - the Black scored when Dave Reynolds drove in Matt Behren and the Red scored on a Pat Minogue sac fly that plated Anthony Maziur.

The Black scored again in the fourth when Matt Behren tripled and came across to score on Daniel Jewett's sacrifice fly.

In the ninth, each squad score - the Red when Tim Kamin tripled and was driven in by Brett Kellam's RBI single and the Black tallied the deciding run on Stevens' RBI ground out that pushed across Jeff Thomas.
