DETROIT - The Mid-American Conference released its latest individual rankings, Thursday, with three Huskie freshmen making their premiere on the list.
Redshirt freshman Pat McClemore (Hinckley, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) made the biggest splash, moving from unranked to second in the MAC at 141 pounds after winning the Cyclone Open by pinning then-No. 14 Nick Gallick of Iowa State.
At 125, true freshman TJ Wunnicke (Dodgeville, Wis./Dodgeville) moved into third in the rankings after going 2-3 in his debut matches.
Also moving into the rankings was Bryan Deutsch (Columbia City, Ind./Columbia City), a redshirt freshman who recorded a 2-3 record last week.
The Huskies return to action No. 24 when they face No. 1 Minnesota, Northern Colorado and North Dakota State at the Rochester Duals.
