DeKALB, Ill. - Northern Illinois University announced an eight-game radio broadcast schedule for baseball this spring. The selected Huskie contests can be heard this spring locally on WLBK (1360-AM) and worldwide on the Internet through www.niuhuskies.com.

The first broadcast is set for Tuesday, April 3 when NIU hosts Illinois State in a 2:30 p.m. contest at Ralph McKinzie Field. Six home dates and a pair of road games are scheduled for broadcast.

Bill Baker, in his 27th year as the "Voice of the Huskies" will call the action. Commentary will be provided by Sid Simmons or NIU Baseball SID David Brauer.
