NIU Men's Tennis Team Falls to Ball State

Muncie, Ind. - The NIU men's tennis team finished the regular season with a 6-1 loss at Ball State on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies finished the regular season 9-11 overall 1-4 in conference play.

Sophomore Brian Livingston (Skokie, Ill.) was not able to extend his winning streak to seven straight matches as Ball State's Joe Epkey bested him by a score of 6-3, 6-2.

Junior Adam Ford (Grand Rapids, Mich.) picked up the lone point for NIU with his win against Jarrod Epkey by a score of 6-3, 6-2. Ford has now won three singles matches in a row and six out his last seven.

The Huskies now head to the MAC Tournament, which starts Thursday, April 26 in Fort Wayne, Ind.
