***Chad Spann's 79-yard touchdown run on the Huskies' first offensive play of the game tied for the 10th-longest run in Northern Illinois history. The run also tied Spann's longest career run, a 79-yard effort last year versus Eastern Michigan (11/5/09).

***Chad Spann recorded his fifth career 100-yard rushing day with 140 yards on 21 carries. Spann had all four of his previous 100-yard games last season, including his career single game high of 174 yards vs. Eastern Michigan (Nov. 5, 2009)

***Chad Spann scored his 28th career rushing touchdown and the 29th touchdown of his career on the 79-yard touchdown run. Spann ranks tied for eighth in career total touchdowns while his career rushing TDs total is sixth.

***Sophomore receivers Martel Moore and Perez Ashford each recorded career bests Saturday versus North Dakota. Moore had his first career touchdown catch while Ashford set his single-game highs for both catches and yards (six) and receiving yards (65).

***Quarterback Chandler Harnish had his career-best rushing day that included the longest run of his career, a 40-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Harnish ran for 178 yards on 21 carries in the game. Harnish had a pair of 100-yard rushing games in 2008, including his previous career-best of 117 yards on 20 carries at Kent State on Nov. 18, 2008.

***Harnish's rushing total is the most by a Northern Illinois quarterback since Stacey Robinson rushed for 308 yards on Oct. 6, 1990 versus No. 24 Fresno State. The Huskies won the game 73-18.

***It was the first time two Huskies rushed for over 100 yards since DeMarcus Grady and Chad Spann both went over the century mark against Eastern Michigan, Nov. 5, 2009. Grady ran for 104 and Spann went for 174 in that contest. The 318 rushing yards by Harnish and Spann is the fifth highest total by two NIU rushers in the same game.

***NIU's 510 yards of total offense is tied for the 20th-most all-time and is the most since the Huskies had 537 yards versus Eastern Michigan last season.

***Tommy Davis' interception on the final play of the game was the first of his career.

***Northern Illinois is now 27-18 all-time in its Huskie Stadium home openers.

***NIU won its 136th game at Huskie Stadium and is 136-97-2 all-time at the facility the Huskies have called home since 1965.
