***NIU won a game while scoring 17 or less points for the first time Oct. 25, 2008, when the Huskies defeated Bowling Green, 16-13. NIU has played 75 games since that time with 55 wins. In 2008, NIU won two games while scoring 17 or less points, the Bowling Green contest and prior to that (on Oct. 11), a 17-13 win over Miami (Ohio).

***The win extended NIU's FBS leading home stadium winning streak to 28-consecutive games. The Huskies have not lost at Huskie Stadium since Sept. 27, 2009.

***Senior wide receiver Da'Ron Brown recorded his first rushing touchdown of the year, and second of his career, with a seven-yard rush in the second quarter. Brown has scored five total TDs on the season, including four receiving, to tie for the team lead.

***Freshman Jordan Huff returned his first career kickoff, going 66 yards to set up a Huskie field goal on the second half opening kickoff. Huff's return was the longest by an NIU player since Tommylee Lewis' 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown last year at Purdue.

***Jordan Huff scored his first career touchdown on a 19-yard run in the third quarter, his only carry of the day.

***NIU's Juwan Brescacin caught 3 passes for 116 yards (38.7 yards/catch) in the game to record the second 100-yard receiving day of his career. It is the third 100-yard day by a Huskie receiver this year (Da'Ron Brown 2).

***Linebacker Rasheen Lemon tied his season-high in tackles with nine, including one sack, his third of the year.

***The Huskies threw their first interception of the season in the fourth quarter when Anthony Maddie was picked off. NIU had not thrown an interception in their previous 138 attempts (139 total attempts).

***Kicker/Punter Tyler Wedel totaled five punts on the night for 216-yards (43.2 yards/punt). All five of his punts landed within the 20-yard line.
