Harrison Waylee scored his first rushing touchdown of the season in the first quarter after breaking through for his first career touchdown on a nine-yard pass reception last week at Western Michigan. Waylee's 28-yard touchdown run was the Huskies' longest TD – and tied for the longest rush – of the season.

Tyrice Richie recorded his fourth 100-yard game of the season, reaching the mark for the third consecutive game in the first half; Richie caught a 26-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, his third consecutive game with a touchdown catch, to give him a total of three on the season.

Harrison Waylee recorded the first 100-yard rushing game of the season for NIU, and the first of his Huskie career as he finished the game with 114 yards on 19 carries versus Toledo.

Trayvon Rudolph notched another long kickoff return as the true freshman continues to be one of the nation's top freshmen returners. Rudolph had a 47-yard return in the first half and totaled 140 yards on seven kickoff returns in the game. The freshman now has 24 kickoff returns for 590 yards this year.
***Toledo defeated NIU in Huskie Stadium for the first time since 2006 and snapped the Huskies' three-game winning streak over the Rockets.
***The Huskies were shut out in the third quarter for the fourth time this season.
