DEKALB, Ill. – Numerous activities and special events are planned as NIU Athletics hosts "Cram the Convo" on Saturday, February 22 for the Huskie basketball doubleheader. The NIU women's basketball team will host Central Michigan at 1 p.m., and the MAC West Division leading Huskie men's basketball team will also welcome the Chippewas to the NIU Convocation Center for a 3:30 p.m. tip.

Beginning when the doors open at noon, the first 1,250 fans attending Saturday's doubleheader will receive a NIU Basketball replica jersey, supported by Northwestern Medicine.

The NIU Alumni Association will host its annual Alumni Day on Saturday in Victor E. Court from 2-4 p.m., featuring free popcorn and hot chocolate. All dues paying members of the NIU Alumni Association will receive a gift. Mission and "Mini Mish" will also be available for pictures. Special $5 tickets are available for alumni via the NIUAA at the following link.

Other activities scheduled for Saturday's doubleheader include the Kids Zone, featuring a bounce house, opening at noon, women's basketball Senior Day and Herb Alexander returns to sing the national anthem. 

As usual, Victor E. Pub will be open from the time the doors open through the conclusion of the men's basketball game. Located on the west side of the NIU Convocation Center, Victor E. Pub features comfortable seats and high-top tables while featuring a full-service bar, $2 drink specials and a $3 food special.
