DeKALB, Ill. – Season ticket renewals for the 2021 Northern Illinois University football team are now available as NIU Athletics prepares to welcome fans back to Huskie Stadium for six home games in 2021.
 
After a year when fan attendance was limited – and even eliminated – NIU Head Coach Thomas Hammock and his team are excited to see the stands filled with Cardinal and Black as the Huskie Marching Band strikes up the Fight Song and people come together to cheer on the Huskies.
 
"I can't wait to have people in the stands again," Hammock said. "That's a huge deal for us. Fans add so much to the gameday atmosphere, our players get fired up when we come out of the Yordon Center and hear the crowd and we really missed that last year. I hope the fans missed Huskie Football as much as we missed them and get season tickets."  
 
NIU anticipates being able to accommodate all season ticket members for games at Huskie Stadium next fall and Huskie Football remains one of the best entertainment values in the region. Ticket prices for 2021 start as low as $66 per ticket for the Huskie Family Pack, while reserved spots in some of the best seats in Huskie Stadium are just $132, or $22 per game, with general admission tickets on the East Side available for just $85 for all six games.
 
Fans who purchased season tickets in 2020 and chose the rollover option for 2021 will be contacted directly by a member of the NIU Athletics Ticket Office or Huskie Athletic Fund regarding their renewals, and renewal emails are going out to all 2019 and 2020 season ticket members. Returning season ticket members can also renew their season tickets online at NIUHuskies.com/MyHuskies or by calling the NIU Athletics Ticket Office at 815-753-PACK (7225). As the ticket staff returns to the office after working remotely for the past year, if you reach the voice mail, please leave your information and a member of the staff will contact you by the next business day.    
 
On the West Side, reserved seats in sections A, B, F and G are $132 for all six games with senior citizens (62+), NIU Faculty/Staff, NIU Alumni Association and Varsity Club members will pay $132 for season tickets in any non-premium area on the West Side.  For all others, reserved seats in sections C, D and E on the West Side are $150. Benchback and chairback seats in sections C, D and E on the West Side are $150 and require a per seat payment.
 
In addition, Huskie Family Packs are available for $360 for four season tickets in sections B and F or $264 for four season tickets in sections A and G.  Add tickets to your Family Pack – good for any four people, related or not – for $90 (B,F) or $66 (A,G). NIU also offers Premium Seating options at Huskie Stadium, including the Benchback and Chairback sections, the Sky Club and Sky Box, with an additional premium seat payment required per season ticket.  Ten and 20-person suites in the Terrace Club (North End Zone), as well as season-long access to the Coaches Club, are also available (click here for more). NIU opens the 2021 season at Georgia Tech on September 4, 2021 with the home opener set for Saturday, September 11 versus Wyoming. Fans interested in purchasing tickets from NIU for the road contests at Michigan (September 18) or Georgia Tech must renew their season tickets and Huskie Athletic Fund membership (minimum $25 level) by June 1, 2021.
 
Fans can catch their first glimpse of the 2021 NIU football team on Saturday, April 10 at the Huskie Spring Showcase from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Huskie Stadium. This spring practice session will feature on-field interviews, player skill contests and live scrimmage action.  Per state of Illinois regulations, tailgating is NOT permitted with masks and social distancing required. Parking is available in the streets and lots around Huskie Stadium.
