DeKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University football team's Homecoming game against the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday, Oct. 14 will now be broadcast nationally on ESPNU. The gametime has been moved from the originally scheduled time of 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. CT.

The October 14 game is the 116th Homecoming game in the history of NIU. NIU's Homecoming is the oldest major college alumni gathering in the state of Illinois and one of the longest celebrated Homecoming traditions in the country. NIU has won 21 of its last 24 Homecoming contests. The last seven meetings between NIU and Ohio have each been decided by seven points or less.
This week the Huskies make their first trip to Akron since 2018 to take on the Zips. The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on ESPN+.
