DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's soccer team's regular season opener on Thursday, Aug. 24 has been moved indoors to Rockford, Ill., due to the extreme heat. The contest between the Huskies and Western Illinois will kickoff at 8 p.m. at the Indoor Sports Center at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two (8800 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park). Due to the venue change, no live video of Thursday's match will be available. 

The Huskie women's soccer game on Thursday (Aug. 24) against Eastern Illinois will be played on campus at the NIU Soccer Complex as scheduled at 8 p.m.
