DeKALB, Ill.—Northern Illinois University head volleyball coach
Sondra Parys has announced the addition of Kylie Schulze to the 2024 Huskies Volleyball roster.
Schulze, a transfer setter from Loyola Chicago, saw action in 12 matches (24 sets), recorded 40 assists, and had two service aces during the 2023 season with the Ramblers.
Schulze is originally from Wonder Lake, Illinois (Woodstock North High School). Schulze saw 120 matches at Woodstock North High School, totaling a staggering 2,200 career assists along with 432 kills, 908 digs, and 201 service aces.
"Kylie is a very talented setter that our staff felt would make a positive impact on the program," said Parys. "She is competitive and hard-working with all that she does, and we trust that those qualities will help build NIU volleyball. We are excited to see her evolve as a Huskie!"
Schulze is the fifth addition to the Huskies roster for 2024, joining Rylea Alvin (Randolph, Wis./Randolph), Ava Grevengoed (Shorewood, Illinois/Joliet West), Emma McCartney (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon), and Ella Strausberg (Plainfield, Illinois/Plainfield North).
