DEKALB, Ill. -- NIU Athletics is seeking volunteers to help clear snow from Huskie Stadium in preparation for Wednesday's IHSA 7A and 8A Football State Championship games. NIU staff, student-athletes and members of the community can help us prepare to host these games by joining us on Monday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. or Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. 

Volunteers are asked to come prepared for at least an hour and dress appropriately for the weather (coats, hats, gloves, boots, etc.). Volunteers must be of high school age or older and while some shovels will be provided, bringing your own would be encouraged.
