DeKalb, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team dropped their dual against WMU 6-1 inside the Nelson Tennis Center on Saturday.

Iker Gaztambide Arrastia earned a win at No. 1 singles. Arrastia dropped the first set to Anton Arzhankin 6-2 but bounced back with a 6-3 win in the second set. Arrastia then took the win as Arzhankin withdrew in a tight third set.

Saul Berdullas played a tight match at No. 2 singles but fell 7-6 (9-7), 7-5.

The Huskies will return to action on Thursday, March 20 at 12 p.m. as the Huskies take on Buffalo.
