CLEVELAND—Caroline Kent (Frisco, Texas/iUniversity Prep) of the Northern Illinois University women's golf team was named to the 2025 Academic All-MAC team as announced by the league office today (May 20).
Kent collects her second honor in her career after seeing action in all 12 tournaments for the Huskies this season.
Kent had a stroke average of 77.4 as she carded 70 for her best round at the GCU Invite in February. Kent's best finish came at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate where she finished in a tie for tenth place.
A total of 29 student athletes were named to this year's team.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that sport.
