DeKALB, Ill.—The Northern Illinois University volleyball program and head coach
Sondra D'Amore will be hosting a series of camps this summer and registration is now available. The Huskie volleyball camps are for a variety of age groups, abilities, individuals, and teams.
The 2026 Huskie volleyball camps will range from specialized sessions with volleyball techniques to helping prepare athletes for their next level of volleyball. Camps will take place on the NIU Campus.
Please note: NIU Volleyball Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.)

Prospect ID Camp (July 10, 2026)
NIU Volleyball's Prospect ID Camp is intended for those participants who have the goal to play in college and beyond. Space is limited and players will be accepted into this specialized camp until filled by position.
The camp is designated for female athletes for female athletes who are in High School (Ages 14-18) with club volleyball experience.
The July 10 camp consists of 2 on-court sessions modeling NIU Volleyball practices and one off-court campus tour and Q&A session on what it is like to be an NIU Volleyball student-athlete.
Huskie Pups Camp (July 14, 2026)
NIU Volleyball's Huskie Pups Camp is designated for female and male athletes with beginner or novice volleyball experience. It is structured to allow campers to explore and try all the skills of volleyball (passing, attacking, setting, serving, & more) in a fun, competitive environment.
This one-day camp consists of one on-court session where campers get to learn the sport through fun games and activities with NIU Coaches and Staff.
Serving Clinic (July 14, 2025)
NIU Volleyball's Serving Clinic is designated for female and male athletes' ages 10-18 with any range of volleyball experience.
It is structured to allow campers to learn and to refine their Serving Skills. Campers will have the chance to work with NIU players and coaches.
Huskies Skills Camp (July 15 and 16, 2026)
NIU Volleyball's Huskie Skills is designated for female athletes' ages 10-18 with any range of volleyball experience. It is structured to allow campers to experience all the skills of volleyball: Passing, Serving, Setting, Attacking, and Defense.
This two-day camp consists of 4 on-court sessions for players to learn more or perfect their craft in each skill in a fun, competitive environment. Campers will have the chance to work
with NIU players and coaches.
Campers also have the option to choose from the following options: Resident, Commuter, or 1-Day Options.
NIU High School Team Camp (July 18 and 19, 2026)
NIU Volleyball's Team Camp is designated for High School Teams looking to experience the Huskie Volleyball way. It is structured to give High School coaches and players an opportunity for positional training, player & system development, optional team bonding, and competition before the high school seasons get underway.
This two-day camp consists of technical and tactical skills training with NIU Coaches and
players followed by 6-v-6 play. Open to Varsity, JV, and Freshman Teams. Space will
be limited, and high school teams will be accepted into this camp until filled.
