MADISON, Wis. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match on the road at Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon. The loss halts the Huskies winning streak at four.
Wisconsin claimed the doubles point, winning 6-2 on both courts one and two.

Federico Scotuzzi and were ahead 5-3 when the match was abandoned once the Badgers secured the point.
Iker Gaztambide Arrastia (Pamplona, Spain / Jesuitas) and
Nikola Puntaric (Ljubljana, Slovenia / Tulsa) each suffered their first losses of the dual season. Gaztambide Arrastia faced No. 74 Michael Minsayan at No. 1 and pushed the match to three sets. Minsayan held on to win 6-7, 6-3, 10-7.
Puntaric fell to No. 120 Patrik Meszaros in a competitive match with Meszaros winning 7-5, 7-6 (7-2). Leti Messina (Rome, Italy / North Florida) had a three-setter against Ferdinand Kloesters, dropping the match 6-3, 2-6, 2-6.
NIU is now 6-2 and shifts its focus to Marquette. The Huskies take on the Eagles Sunday at 11 a.m.
