DeKALB, Ill. – Iker Dellien Velasco and Chiao Bo Suo Nan of the Northern Illinois University men's tennis team have been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the league announced today.

Dellien Velasco and Suo Nan clinched the doubles point against Toledo at No. 2 doubles, winning 7-6 (9-7) after saving four match points. The two are now 8-4 as doubles team this season.

It's the first time Dellien Velasco and Suo Nan have received Doubles Team of the Week honors this season.

NIU has received seven Player of the Week honors this season, the most in a single season since at least 2015.
